Forbes Gokak-owned Savile Row plans to enter into women's and kids wear segments this year.

Savile Row which provides luxury clothing at affordable prices, is all set to increase its presence in India, according to Reetika Mehra Dalal, Executive-in-Charge, Upmarket Brands Division, Forbes Gokak Ltd.

Forbes Gokak had entered into a licencee agreement with Savile Row, London, in 2005 and has established six company owned and 20 shop-in-shop stores across the country.

The company plans to bring the brand into malls and high street stores in coming two years. An agreement has already been made with Pyramid Retail, which is on a massive expansion plan, said Dalal.

Plans are afoot to bring in golf wear and watchline among accessories range by this spring-summer, along with women and kids wear, Dalal said

"Savile Row will be out with its bespoke (made-to-order) arm by next year," she added.

Trussardi, one of the three brands under Forbes Gokak, is also expected to be out with its ready-to-wear by end 2008.

"Our collections are international but our price strategy is India-centric. We are really working hard on product, price and communications and hope to see our sales increasing in the next 5-7 years," said Dalal.

Company plans to set up at least 10 points of sale by this spring-summer and another 35-40 by next year, she added.
