El Nasr Clothes & Textiles reports growth in net profit

El Nasr Clothes and Textiles (Kabo) has reported a year-on-year growth of 9.2 percent to earn consolidated profit of 46.5 million Egyptian pounds during the first half of this year.
Company's products include under and outerwear for men, women and children, which are made of all kinds of kitting, (single jersey, fine rib, derby, interlock and warp knit).
Textile company shares slid down 1.4 percent to close at 2.19 pounds on Tuesday. Market capitalization stands at 751.72 million pounds.
Considered one of the giants, the company's net profit in the first half of 2006 was 42.57 million pounds.
Kabo items are sold under international trade marks like Jill, Super Kabo and Kabo, which are well known.
