Lock Apparels Inc, a high end sport specific company, has announced its expansion of the Ultimate Athletic Shorts program for men, women, and youth.
Presently, Lock Apparel is offering their patented, Core Support System (CSS) especially manufactured for baseball, running, basketball, cycling, lacrosse, martial arts, rugby and soccer players. The new lines are performance shorts, christened 'The Lock', 'The Lady' and 'Little Lock'.
In an exclusive interview with Fibre2fashion, Mr Regg Miller, Lock Apparel's inventor and President says, “Our business revolves around two prolific items. Firstly, the patented 'Lock Technology' developed for men, supports both the core (CSS core support system) and the male genitals with a unique blending of fabrics and engineering to hold and support a man like nothing has in the past. It is the perfect blend of a 'jock short' plus core support that has unmatched comfort while giving ultimate support. This is available in two different styles, the 'Universal Lock' which has a pocket for a protective cup and the 'Core Lock' which is a sport specific garment that does not have a cup.
“For women 'Lock Apparel' features 'The Lady'. This is again a sophisticated blend of fabrics and engineering which supports women's hips and thighs and buttocks unlike anything else on the market while allowing for total freedom of movement. 'Little Lock' is a junior version of 'The Lock' used for baseball, hockey and other sports, that need either a cup or pelvic protection.”
Further Mr Miller stated, “Our second line of business is tops/bottoms and accessories made exclusively from 'Active Cotton', the first true moisture management cotton that outperforms most commercial synthetics.
“The major advantages of 'Active Cotton' are no slipping (under shoulder pads), no odor, no snagging, no itch or burn along with true temperature control. It has amazing insulation in cold and cool comfort in heat. We have also combined our 'Active Cotton' with a non-toxic anti-bacterial that binds to the cotton molecule for life.”
While discussing the advantages of these apparels for sports persons, the President stressed, “By supporting the athlete's core, their performance is enhanced in two ways. This provides freedom to move without restriction which typically comes from traditional compression shorts which get wet and heavy the more you sweat. 'The Lock' and 'The Lady' gives maximum support yet unrivaled freedom and neavy get wet or loose.”
Experts are of the opinion that 'The Lock' is simply the best protective undergarment in the industry.
