Textile services company Lindström and its subsidiary Vision Design, specialist in corporate clothing, are merging. The merger enhances Lindström's position as a leading workwear service provider. It also allows the company to provide especially extensive, international and individual workwear services.

The arrangement combines Vision Design's top-level expertise in design with Lindström's delivery chain know-how in 19 countries. The company will enjoy better and better prospects for growth in the workwear services market.

”The merger gives us increased strength for growth and international escalation. It also serves to enhance our service promise ”cares for your image”. Our range will continue to include both standardized and unique workwear solutions that strengthen our customer companies' brands, says Managing Director of Lindström, Mr. Juha Laurio.

Along with the merger, a new Centre of Expertise is established within the Lindström Group, called Design & Brand Management. It will be headed by Ms. Anna-Kaisa Huttunen, an internationally celebrated and prized fashion designer, currently Design Manager in Vision Design.

”Corporate clothing requirements are getting more and more individual. This is why we are concentrating our efforts on demanding service business high end service solutions and the overall image of our customers' corporate clothing solutions. Our customers appreciate our capacity in top design, tailoring, and implementation of international projects”, Anna-Kaisa Huttunen says.

Lindström's corporate clothing solutions will soon be supplemented by various PR solutions. These include various customer gifts, staff gifts and market promotion products that create the desired company image together with clothing. The new PR collection will be published in October 2008.

Lindström is a global business-to-business partner that strengthens the corporate image of its customers by means of textiles and cleanliness. Lindström operates in 19 countries in Europe and Asia with over 2,300 staff. Vision Design is Lindström's subsidiary since 2005.
