J Brand Jeans hires new CFO

J Brand, a rapidly growing premium denim company, announced the appointment of Efthimios (Thimio) P. Sotos as its Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
Mr. Sotos has over 20 years of experience in finance, treasury, strategic planning and accounting, having served in a number of senior level positions with both public and private companies. Prior to joining J Brand, Mr. Sotos served as Metropark USA, Inc.'s Chief Operating and Financial Officer since February 2008. Prior to Metropark, Mr. Sotos spent more than 12 years in positions of increasing responsibility at Jones Apparel Group, Inc. (NYSE: JNY), including Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Executive Vice President, Strategic and Financial Planning. At Jones Apparel, Mr. Sotos led all aspects of the company's financial operations, including strategy and implementation, financial leadership and control, governance and operations. Mr. Sotos also served in a variety of different roles including, Chief Operating and Financial Officer of BCBG Max Azria Group and Assistant Treasurer of Nine West Group. Mr. Sotos holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University.
