In a recently released statement, Pumpkin Patch Ltd, the Auckland-based retailer and exporter of children's-wear stated that it would carry on with expansion of its retail outlet chain in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States over the next two to three years.
The statement further stated that, the clothing company with cost cutting measures, has succeeded in boosting its overall profits for the year by 76 percent, based on which it is planning for expansion over the next three years.
Meanwhile, for active promotion of its exclusive brand Charlie & Me in its major markets like Australia and New Zealand, the company intends to launch 11 new outlets there, in 2011.
Maurice Prendergast, Chief Executive Officer of Pumpkin Patch said that, in spite of challenging consumer markets, the new brand 'Charlie & Me' would make it possible for them to infiltrate in the "everyday wear" segment, which accounts for 75 percent of apparel sales across the globe.
