Glenmuir brings catwalk & high street fashion to the Fairway

Lady golfers can take flashes of catwalk glamour to the course this season with the superb new Ladies Collection from Glenmuir.

The Lanark, Scotland-based company introduces a total of six new Ladies Shaped Fit Shirts for Spring 2011, with fashionable filigree-inspired embroidery on four gorgeous new co-ordinated products.

The elegant and stretchable 'Marcia' polo features an understated embroidered butterfly on the breast pocket and back yoke, with a rounded collar and contrast piping on the cuffs, collar and deep placket. Available in White/Hot Pink, Winter White/Peapod and Yellow/White and in a neat, shaped fit, this beautiful shirt will grace any fairway.

The 'Carla' performance polo features swirling embroidery on the right side, stylish gathering on the shoulders panels and yoke, a six button placket and the Hi-Cool moisture management system. Colour choices range from the bright Hot Pink/Glamour/Light Pink, to the summery Peapod/Winter White/Light Mango and the classic White/Mercury/Yellow.

Both shirts are designed to co-ordinate with the 'Carrie' stretch skort, with embroidery and diamante on the right thigh/hip and the butterfly pattern on the 'Chloe' visor.

Elsewhere, Glenmuir's renowned performance fabric system, Hi-Cool, gives added performance to the new 71% cotton 29% polyester 'Holly' and 'Claudia' shirts.

'Holly' boasts a single button open placket with a self-fabric anti-curl collar and contrast side panels and comes in White/Hot Pink, Peapod/Winter White and Kingfisher/White colour options.

Meanwhile, with its button neck and tailored fit 'Claudia' also has smart contrasting panels and is available in White/Hot Pink, White/Yellow and Winter White/Mango colours.

High-performance moisture wicking and ultra violet protection technology has been employed in the new stretchable 'Florence' and 'Nadine' shirts. Manufactured from a super-comfortable 65% polyester 35% cotton pique, 'Florence' is characterised by contrasting sleeves, shoulders, collar and placket while the solid colour 'Nadine' with its rounded collar has contemporary contrast piping.

For Spring/Summer 2011 Glenmuir offers a fully-coordinating collection of clothes and accessories with three new and modern colour schemes: Hot Summer where bright pink combines with navy, white and stone; Tequila Sunrise, with stunning mango and peapod accent colours against white, khaki and black; and Cool Waves, where vibrant kingfisher blue sits alongside yellow, black, white and mercury.
