Brentano wins Interior Design's Best of Year Award

US based Brentano Design Studio won the Interior Design's Best of Year (BoY) Award in the category ‘Textiles: Outdoor for new indoor/outdoor pattern’ for its Solstice upholstery fabrics. Designed for indoor and outdoor applications, Solstice offers stain resistance and bleach cleanability for a wide range of applications and is environmentally conscientious.
The 100 per cent Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic and polyester warp allows for extreme lightfastness and boasts an abrasion resistance that passes 50,000 double rubs.
According to Bretano, the 54” upholstery’s large scale repeat mimics the rising and setting sun as the vibrant tessellation of triangles dance across the face of the fabric like shooting stars.
The pattern has also received a Facts Silver sustainability certification and joins Brentano’s Green label of eco-friendly textiles and is available in seven colours. (AR)
