Sutlej Textiles completes expansion of RTM

Sutlej Textiles and Industries Limited has completed expansion project at its subsidiary Rajasthan Textile Mills (RTM) for setting up of 35,280 spindles. The new spindles will be commercially commissioned on March 15, 2017. RTM produces synthetic and blend yarn at its facility in Bhawanimandi. Before the current expansion, it had 90,432 spindles capacity.

"Rajasthan Textile Mills, a unit of the company, has completed its expansion project for setting up of 35,280 spindles as per schedule, and these are being commercially commissioned with effect from March 15, 2017," Sutlej Textiles said in its disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India.
