 Agra Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Chamber(AFMEC) took the Initiative to launch the 1st Edition of Leather, Footwear Components & Technology Fai r- Meet at Agra” in November 2007. It was the first Fair of its kind to be held in Agra at Hotel Jaypee Palace. It surpassed all its targets in the first year itself with 121 Exhibiters & Business projections of 150 Crores.
Due to over whelming Success of 1st Edition we had to shift to a bigger Venue (Kalakriti Ground, Fatehabad Road, Agra) for The 2nd
Edition of Meet At Agra in November 2008 In 2nd Edition the Built
up Area was almost double of the 1st Edition. 161 Exhibiters including 15 Exhibiters from Overseas participated in the Fair. Two companies had displayed complete Footwear Factories with conveyers. The growth was tremendous with business transaction of 400 crores & 10,000 business Visitors came to the Fair. The Fair was Inaugurated by Shri Jairam Ramesh, Honourable Minister of State for Commerce & Power, Govt. of India. He was very pleased to see the record breaking growth of this Fair in such a small span of time.

Footwear Components & Technology Fair “Meet at Agra 2009” will be presented on 7th & 8th November 2009 at Kalakriti Ground, Fatehabad Road, Agra. The Fair will be inaugurated on 7th Nov. 09 at 10:30 PM
In a short span of 2 years, Meet at Agra has become the biggest Event of its kind in Northern India. Meet at Agra 2009 will have 5000 Sq. M of Covered Area under three Air Conditioned Hangers. There will be 235 Stalls & anticipated business of 500 Crores with 12,000 Business visitors. Two Hangers are fully booked & 3rd Hanger for Machinery has got more than 80 % bookings till date.
