 VAI, a leader in enterprise resource planning solutions for the distribution, manufacturing, retail and service industries, and an IBM Premier Business Partner, announced that Rome, Georgia-based Syntec Industries , a manufacturer of quality marine, recreational vehicle and housing carpets, that also offers trims, vinyl, leathers, suede, fabrics, logo mats and adhesives, has implemented VAI's S2K Enterprise 5.0. S2K is meant to integrate production and financial operations at Syntec's multiple warehouse locations.
The company operates seven warehouse facilities six in Georgia and one in Indiana in which it manufactures carpet. Syntec, a VAI customer since 1998, upgraded to S2K 5.0 in spring 2009 and went live in September of this year. With VAI's robust ERP solution, Syntec has a fully integrated financial management system that communicates seamlessly with the company's manufacturing software. The textile manufacturer also has enabled enhanced retrieval of the real-time financial information it needs to allow for superior administration and enhanced productivity.
