Polartec debuts mountain apparel brand Mtnlogic

Developer of innovative textile solutions Polartec, has launched Mtnlogic, a mountain apparel brand created in partnership with world class alpine climbers and guides. Mtnlogic has been developed in partnership with Peter Whittaker and the guides at RMI Expeditions who have been searching for the perfect alpine workwear since a long time.
Polartec worked with Whittaker, founder of Mtnlogic and the guides at RMI Expeditions to develop a full range of apparel solutions to offer a pure expression of alpine workwear.
The Mtnlogic collection has 19 styles, developed over a 12 month development timeline, by testing over 7,000 pieces of apparel through over 1.2 million vertical feet of climbing.
“Mtnlogic was developed by guides to first solve their apparel problems, with commercial considerations secondary,” Polartec CEO Gary Smith said. “It shows how a product-first approach with Polartec can enable the most authentic product creation.” (AR)
