Asian propylene prices show mixed movement last week

Propylene prices moved up in Japan and Korea in the last week due to bullish buying trend in the region.
In Japan, average prices inched higher by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 825/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a lift of 0.61 per cent.
In Korea, average prices soared by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 845/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after an improvement of 1.81 per cent.
In China, average prices went down by US$ 5/ton to US$ 865/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a reduction of 0.57 per cent due to bearish buying sentiments in the region.
In SE Asia, average prices kept steady and assessed at US$ 775/ton in the last week due to moderate trading activity in the region.
