Lower upstream prices drive down Asian MEG on May 13

Lower upstream product prices coupled with fall in other polyester feedstock prices drove down MEG prices in Asia on Wednesday (May 13).
In India, prices were spotted at US$ 1000/ton on Wednesday, lower by US$ 10/ton as compared to prices on Tuesday (May 12).
In China, prices showed similar trend and decreased by US$ 10/ton and were assessed at US$ 995/ton on May 13.
