PX prices increase in US last week

PX prices marched higher in the US in the last week owing to strong cues from the Asian market.
In US, average prices gained by US$ 25/ton and settled at US$ 1000/ton in the last week, a rise of 2.56 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices sharply soared by US$ 40/ton and recorded at US$ 950/ton in the last week, showing an increment of 4.40 per cent as compared to the previous week due to lift in buying interest in the region.
