Womenswear firm Lily Brand selects Centric PLM suite

Lily Brand, the fast-growing womenswear brand from China, has selected Centric Software to provide its Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution. Centric Software provides the most innovative enterprise solutions to fashion, retail, footwear, outdoor, luxury, and consumer goods companies to achieve strategic and operational digital transformation goals.

Lily Brand opened its first shop in Shanghai in 2000. Today, more than 700 Lily Brand stores are in business in China, covering 300 cities. There are also almost 70 Lily Brand retail outlets in international markets including Russia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Singapore, and Kuwait. This rapid growth brought organisational challenges, and Lily Brand started looking for a PLM system to standardise merchandise management and improve efficiency across the brand.

Liu, CIO at Lily Brand said, “We needed to set up a well-coordinated management platform for our business colleagues that could cover planning, design and R&D. With the implementation of projects, we wanted to transform our R&D process. Second, we wanted the process of R&D to become more visible and controllable. Finally, it is important for us to retain and pass on our core ideas by establishing a basic library. We believed that PLM platform would help keep the identical standard throughout the business scope and boost our internal and external coordination efficiency.”

After an in-depth consideration of several PLM solution providers, Lily Brand selected Centric Software. Lily Brand will begin implementing Centric 8 PLM in 2018 and expects to see significant benefits across a variety of areas.
