Ruchi Mehta

Beautiful feminine creations were the offering from Ruchi Mehta's Salt label. Smocking was the favoured detailing which appeared on shaded dresses and kurtas along with delicate cutwork for multi panel pastel bubble tunics. Rouching was discreetly done for kurtas which glittered with pearl and sequins while shredded clusters of fabrics on a dusty pink silk ensemble was an interesting effect. The colours were muted with brown, dusty pink, brown, grey, sand, silver, mauve, beige and a hint of black for chiffon, and silk which played with layers to make elegant drop waist dresses or tunics with simple silhouettes. Embroidery was in silk with pebble and palm motifs. The look spelt comfort all the way and was just right for those hot summer days when one wants to relax stylishly.
