SUDHIR & TAPASH CREATED A FASHIONABLE GRAPHIC CRAFT RANGE OF GARMENTS

When craft meets graphic design, the result is one of stylish traditional beauty as was evident from the collection created by Sudhir and Tapash for their Stae label. The line called "The Journey" from the designer duo, took the audience through garments which were a great mix of Indo-western styling for saris and dresses all in simple clean silhouettes. 
Inspired by the lovely ancient craft of Pipli the paneled garments with graphic touches were beautifully portrayed for summer wear. Colour was a muted serene story that added to the elegance of the creations. Detailing revolved around appliqués, or multi coloured scales for collars and edging on tiers or geometric patches. The silhouettes were simple smocks, dresses or shifts in silk and crepe and one solitary mini kaftan. The saris reflected the same mood of the dresses in graphic panels. For comfortable lounging in or out of the house the Stae collection will win votes.
