Saiesta launches products on Amazon.com

Indian online retailer Saiesta.com, which is also the country’s first-ever income generating fashion portal for women, has launched a collaborative venture with e-commerce giant Amazon to expand its customer base.
In a bid to expand the reach of its products, the national digital marketplace has introduced a wide variety of clothing and accessories on the international web store and plans to periodically upgrade the offering on the platform.
Speaking on the new partnership, Sonal Abrol, Saiesta chief operating officer, said in a press statement, “We are looking to take our products to as many women as possible. The tie-up with Amazon will help us in our goal. An already established marketplace such as Amazon has trust and value amongst its huge customer base, which can be of big help for us.”
“We will benefit greatly from the huge customer base of Amazon. Ever since the tie-up which happened in the first week of March, we have been getting an overwhelming response,” she adds.
The current product folio includes full and mid-length tops, tunics, scarves, long kurtas and fashion accessories.
With Amazon, the website is presently dealing with domestic crowd only, and plans to launch an international website are in the pipeline. Portals such as Indian Roots and Design Emporia are catering to the international clients for Saiesta as of now.
Part of a New Delhi-based export house that specialises in high-fashion garments, Saivana Exports Pvt Ltd, Saiesta offers entrepreneurial opportunities to women by giving them complete flexibility to work from home or existing work place at most suitable hours. (PB)
