Peloton launches retail concept at John Lewis & Partners

Peloton, a global interactive fitness platform, and John Lewis & Partners have announced a new retail partnership to open nine Peloton concessions in John Lewis shops across the UK. The concessions will be the first of their kind in the UK. The first Peloton concession opens in John Lewis’s new 1400 sqft athleisure area in its flagship Oxford Street shop.
 
Peloton will join premium brands such as Sweaty Betty, Stella by Adidas and Athleta in the new space. Over the next few months, a further eight Peloton concessions will open in John Lewis shops in Southampton, High Wycombe, Kingston, Welwyn Garden City, Liverpool, Bristol, Horsham and Cheadle.
 
In a premium environment, customers will have the opportunity to experience the Peloton Bike, with a personalised walkthrough, and learn from Peloton experts about the live studio experience they can subscribe to and enjoy at home. Customers will also be able to shop the latest Peloton clothing.
 
Peloton pioneered connected, technology-enabled fitness, and introduced its indoor Bike to a US audience in 2014. In 2018, Peloton began international expansion, launching in the UK and Canada. 
 
Peloton brings the energy and benefits of studio-style workouts to the convenience and comfort of home. With thousands of classes across a variety of disciplines, taught by a roster of elite instructors, Peloton delivers real-time motivation and curated playlists from the world's best artists. In the UK, the brand’s immersive content is accessible through the Peloton Bike and the Peloton App, which provides a full slate of fitness offerings such as indoor cycling, running, walking, strength, stretching, cardio, yoga and meditation.
