Edana's International Nonwovens Symposium 2016, which concluded recently in Warsaw, addressed the business challenges and opportunities facing the wide range of nonwovens from durable application to apparel wipe, personal, and health care products.

The symposium also provided an overview of the status of the Polish economy and the strength of its star sector, namely the automotive and car parts industry.  Discussions on topics like Industry 4.0, biodegradability, recycling, innovation support, new processes, and new filter media were held during the symposium.

INS 2016 witnessed more than 185 participants from 123 companies of 23 countries across the supply chain, who took part in the networking opportunities.

“A worthwhile event, in the right place at the right time, with a strong presence of companies from Central and Eastern Europe, excellent technical content, and attended by 100 per cent industry experts, “said Wolfgang Plasser from Lenzing, Austria. (HO)
