Donaldson Company, Inc. announced that it has appointed Guillermo Briseño, Vice President, Latin America effective August 1st. Briseño is currently Donaldson's Managing Director, Latin America.

Briseño, 46, joined Donaldson in 2003 as an Industrial Air Filtration District Manager. Over the next several years, he made significant contributions in increasingly larger roles as the Company's Industrial Filtrations Solutions Business Manager and as the Industrial Sales Director for Latin America. Briseño was promoted into his current position in 2011.

Prior to joining Donaldson, Briseño held a variety of operational management roles for Vellum S.A. De C.V. Briseño holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico and will be completing his MBA at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey this December.

"Guillermo has a proven track record of success in driving growth and in delivering operational excellence," said Tod Carpenter, Donaldson's Chief Operating Officer.

"Under his leadership, we expanded our Latin American distribution facility and built a second manufacturing plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico. He also established our new distribution facilities in Chile and Peru. These strategic moves have led to our 60 percent growth in Latin America over the past three years and provide a solid foundation for our continued growth in the region. We are excited to welcome Guillermo to our Officer group and look forward to further leveraging his international experience."
