Metravib unveils thermomechanical test system for polymers

Metravib, a brand of Acoem group, a leading solution provider for industrial, environmental, and defence sectors, has developed DMA+300, a new dynamic mechanical analysis system, offering exceptional analysis capabilities to characterize polymers and composite materials in different environments.

The DMA+300 testing platform enables the characterization of materials presenting great variation in mechanical properties based on temperature. With its 300-Newton air-bearing shaker, the DMA+300 offers unrivalled capabilities for the accurate analysis of fibres and polymer films, as well as monitoring the polymerization of thermosetting polymers, according to a company press release.

The DMA+300 can also be equipped with MULTITEST fatigue software. It is, therefore, a highly versatile research tool that is particularly well suited to the analysis of the mechanical properties of reinforced polymer materials.
