INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, has joined hands with China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA), to co-organise a new nonwovens event in Asia, the China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum (CINE), from October 14 to 16, 2015 in Shanghai, China.

The new event is unique in its sole focus on nonwovens in China while other events in the country also include technical textiles and textile equipment. According to INDA, CINE is expected to be “the most important event in Asia for nonwovens this fall,” and represents an excellent new promotional venue for suppliers of raw materials, machinery and equipment, nonwoven roll or matt goods, converters, consultants, and brand owners.

Dave Rousse, president of INDA said, “We are delighted to co-organize this new event in China for nonwovens and to elevate our relationship with CNITA to a strategic alliance where we constructively act together to advance the industry. We encourage all players in our industry to take advantage of this new event to expand their reach to an important and growing market in China.”

The event is also supported by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade’s Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT-TEX) and Messe Frankfurt. The event will include a trade show at the Shanghai Mart and an international forum prior to the show.

CNITA is the national association in China representing the nonwovens industry along with technical textiles. CCPIT is the promotional arm of the China Ministry of Textiles with many sub-councils related to various sectors of the greater textile industry. Messe Frankfurt is a professional trade show organizer based in Germany with several shows organized around the world.

Since 1968, INDA events have helped members connect, learn, innovate, and develop their businesses. INDA educational courses, market data, test methods, consultancy, and issue advocacy help members succeed by providing them the information they need to better plan and execute their business strategies.
