Archroma chooses Accenture's finance & accounting suite

Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, has announced that it is providing Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals for the textile, paper and emulsions sectors, with a range of finance and accounting (F&A) and procurement business process services across the enterprise.
Accenture recently completed the first year of a seven-year agreement and is providing Archroma with F&A business process services such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting and reporting, as well as sourcing and category management and procurement operations services. The project supports Archroma's efforts to operate processes more efficiently and effectively while improving decision making and business outcomes through insights gained from automation and data analytics.
Accenture was chosen based on its ability to rapidly deliver industrialised, scalable, and flexible services on a global basis. The work is being delivered through Accenture Delivery Center locations in Chennai, Prague, Buenos Aires, and Dalian, according to a press release.
Helmut Wagner, chief procurement officer, Archroma said, “This engagement with Accenture is vital to the success of our new organization and enables us to focus on our core business to better serve our customers with a portfolio of world-class products. The project ensures that our internal support functions are operating in an optimised way with a focus on controlling expenditures while increasing efficiency and transparency across our enterprise.”
René Rohrer, Resources Lead, Switzerland, Accenture said, “Accenture provides a complementary mix of people with deep industry knowledge and technology expertise which gives Archroma fast access to skills and infrastructure. We are very excited to support Archroma in its transition to an independent company and into the future.”
