J.McLaughlin selects Aptos Singular Commerce platform

Aptos, a recognised market leader in retail technology solutions, has that announced J.McLaughlin, the classic American clothing and accessories brand for women and men, has selected the Aptos Singular Commerce platform in the cloud. The Aptos End-to-End software suite will support best-practice omni-channel retail execution and customer engagement.

The Aptos Singular Commerce platform integrates every part of the enterprise to enable truly seamless customer experiences no matter where, when or how customers shop. Supporting omni-channel operations, information is integrated across channels to support one complete view of customers, inventory, orders and more to ensure customers never leave the store unfulfilled.

J.McLaughlin will leverage Aptos’ fully integrated end-to-end suite of solutions to support critical operations across every area of its retail enterprise. The retailer has selected Aptos solutions for point of sale, analytics, audit and operations management, customer relationship management, digital commerce, enterprise order management, merchandising, and warehouse management.

The investment in Aptos comes at an exciting time in the company’s history. In November 2015, private equity investment firm Brentwood Associates acquired a majority stake in J.McLaughlin, and in July 2016, former Ralph Lauren executive Mary Ellen Coyne was named to the CEO post. Upon joining the company, Coyne stated her plans to accelerate the company’s growth across all channels of distribution, by both increasing the current retail footprint and investing in the company’s marketing efforts online and offline.

Coyne said, “Aptos’ proven technologies and extensive expertise with integrated platforms will position J.McLaughlin for its next wave of omni-channel growth, enabling us to expand into new markets while continuing to support and stay relevant to our customers.
