TAGSYS RFID, the leading provider of item-level inventory management systems that streamline the supply chain, announced two new additions to its US-based organization in response to accelerating demand for smart inventory and loss management systems within the retail and luxury sectors.  Tony Dublino has been named Director of US Sales for Retail and Apparel and Chad Tripp is the new Director of Field Applications Engineering for TAGSYS in the US. The two industry veterans bring extensive experience in developing and deploying optimized inventory management solutions in the retail sector, a key market that TAGSYS addresses with its scalable end-to-end integrated systems.

Dublino brings more than twenty years experience in selling and supporting item-level inventory tracking solutions throughout the supply chain, including retail and associated channels, with a specific expertise in RFID deployment.  His background includes managing US marketing and sales for RFID sensor manufacturer Hi-G-Tek, where he oversaw enterprise sales and business development, made-to-order manufacturing, product development, and channel sales development and contracting. A seasoned sales executive, Dublino works closely with customers to help them identify their tracking needs and customize a solution that works for them. He has handled national accounts such as Ryder and Bell South.

Tripp is a strong technical addition to the team with more than 17 years experience in defining, developing and implementing high value software solutions in a range of industries, including retail, banking/finance, and human resource management. He has managed software engineering efforts efforts for Lending Processing Services, Bank of America, Convergys, enabling key business solutions for Fortune 500 and Global 500 corporations. Tripp also founded his own company, Avantecdat, which supplied retail, inventory and asset management solutions in Ecuador.

“The US retail and apparel market is an important focus for TAGSYS since major retailers are rapidly moving to full RFID compliance by all of their vendors. Tony and Chad bring a wealth of experience in developing and supporting solutions in this space,” said Monte Lucas, Vice President of Sales, Americas, for TAGSYS. “They are valuable resources for companies looking to understand and leverage the business intelligence benefits of RFID, initiate deployments that cut costs and improve overall supply chain efficiency.”

Both Dublino and Tripp will be responsible for supporting TAGSYS’ FiTS deployments for the retail market and its supply chain ecosystem in North America. This includes ensuring customers complete compliance with new RFID guidelines backed by some of the largest retailers in the US, including Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, PVH Corp (owner of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger), Jockey International and Maidenform. The support for the guidelines means any company supplying to the retailers involved in the initiative can rely on the TAGSYS system to both boost their supply chain agility and be compliant with the requirements of their retail partners, regardless of the serialization technology used - IT-based or chip-based serialization.
