TradeCard, Inc., the supply chain collaboration and global trade platform used by more than 10,000 retailers, brands, manufacturers and service providers, will be showcasing the value derived from integrating PLM systems into the supply chain at the Technia PLM Innovation Forum being held in Cirkus, Stockholm on September 26th.

TradeCard’s head of business development for Europe, Esther Lutz, is leading a session on extending the value of PLM into the supply chain using cloud technology. The session will be co-presented by Technia’s Anna Liljedahl, Senior Business Consultant for Apparel, Retail & Footwear. Liljedahl will detail the value generated through the TradeCard-Technia collaboration. The presentation takes place at 14.50 – 15.40.

“A significant opportunity exists for extending PLM functionality into the supply chain to enable superior collaboration and true end-to-end visibility,” said Lutz. “Innovators are extending their design capabilities into the supply chain to optimize sourcing decisions. They’re speeding up their sampling process with trading partners to remove time and costs from the supply chain collaboration process. For many brands and retailers, this is an untapped opportunity to accelerate time to market and drive overall supply chain efficiency.”

Guess CIO Mike Relich, a customer of both Technia and TradeCard, is the keynote speaker at the event.

“The PLM Innovation forum is the biggest PLM event in the Nordics and we are very pleased to have both TradeCard and Mike Relich speaking,” said Liljedahl. “All our customers are facing similar challenges to meet the increasing importance of flexibility and speed. Our partnership with TradeCard gives us the possibility to offer our customers a solution that can increase both speed and flexibility, not only in PLM but throughout the entire process, from idea to shop.”

TradeCard and Technia launched a strategic partnership in 2011 to deliver end-to-end supply chain visibility for consumer goods companies in Northern Europe.

TradeCard, Inc. has transformed global supply chain collaboration by boosting visibility, cash flow and margins for over 10,000 brands, retailers, suppliers and service providers operating in 78 countries. TradeCard delivers a cloud-based network that enables complex, multi-enterprise sourcing transactions across multiple layers of the supply chain.
