Sweden-based Eton Systems, the pioneer of Unit Production Hanger Systems, has launched new solutions to offer high-end technologies to achieve higher productivity and quality improvements in apparel- and textile manufacturing. One is the new touch screen terminal application. The second news is the Eton Standard Apparel Concept – a new, improved, light system developed uniquely for high volume production.

“The Eton Systems Concept is a great production tool to streamline your production process. We have seen the need for a custom version for high volume apparel manufacturing, and are happy to offer both our Advanced Concept and a new Standard Concept which is even more cost-effective if you produce in high volumes”, says Tintin Jonasson, Eton Systems CEO.

The Eton Standard Apparel Concept is developed especially for large volume production in low to middle high premises, with the same benefits, quality and production savings as always comes with the Eton Systems concept. The Standard system is developed to optimize the usage of your existing production area and thereby effectively enhance production capacity per square meter.

It is well suited for manufacturers looking for a top quality production system not quite as extensive as the Eton Advanced apparel system, which includes the entire Eton Systems Concept: a completely flexible Unit Production System combined with the Eton Systems know-how, training and software.

New terminal touch screen application for effective production control
The Eton Systems touch screen application can be used in both android smart phones and tablets, complementing the Eton Systems existing terminals.

“A touch screen is very user friendly. Easy to learn and easy to handle. The operator will quickly understand how to navigate through the menus. This is a very intuitive tool, especially if you are used to this type of work”, says Johan Granath, Eton Systems software engineer, working with the development of the application.

The touch screen application presents a large amount of information simultaneously. The user then decides what data to show and/or update, by simply selecting options on the screen.
All information is provided in real time, and accurate data makes it easier to make the right decisions.

“Since the terminal is an everyday work tool for the operators and this will be a boost for them as well”, says Johan Granath, seeing great potential in the application.
