Attune partners SAP to develop apparel solutions

Attune Consulting, a premier global solutions provider to the fashion and lifestyle industries, announced its collaboration with SAP on plans to design and develop a new solution to better meet the challenges faced by apparel, footwear, and accessory companies. It is intended that the new solution will leverage the power of the SAP HANA platform.

Fashion wholesalers and manufacturers who run retail stores and have direct-to-consumer (D2C) web channels face a number of supply chain challenges – including the management and distribution of inventory globally – that can impede their ability to stay ahead of changing styles and market demand.

SAP’s new vertical solution intends to help fashion brands address these challenges and transform their businesses for the omni channel. Attune’s established expertise across the fashion and lifestyle industry will support the development.

In addition to collaborating with SAP on the design and development of the new solution, attune will be working with SAP on the development of a tool that will allow customers to migrate from the SAP Apparel and Footwear application to the new solution.

Attune is closely involved in SAP’s migration development activities, and is providing a methodology and approach for customer migrations, including Fit and Gap Analysis (FGA) and change management initiatives. attune will also be providing guidance throughout product testing cycles and creating training materials.
