A QRS Corporation customer, Modell's used QRS' VAN services for five years to manage the flow of critical e-commerce information and product information with its trading community of more than 400 vendors. When Inovis acquired QRS, Inovis presented Modell's with several options to ensure trading community continuity and optimization.
Modell's decided that the best solution would be to migrate to Inovis' next-generation VAN, which provides a owerful engine for end-to-end control and visibility of business-to-business (B2B) transactions and trading partner relationships. In addition, the new Inovis VAN offers an innovative customer portal called inovisworks.net that serves as the single interface for all Inovis interactions and provides around-the-clock customer support.
Modell's will continue to use Inovis Catalogue, which is the retail industry's leading centralized repository of product information and contains over 100 million unique items.
"As the nation's oldest family-owned retailer, we have a long and successful tradition of continuously expanding our trading partner community and strengthening our supply chain," said Yvonne Jordan-Perez, EDI Coordinator of Modell's.
