Infor launches CloudSuite for textile-value chain

Infor, a software solutions provider for the textile and fashion industries, has launched CloudSuite Fashion, which offers fashion companies access to industry-tailored applications in the cloud environment.
Infor CloudSuite Fashion provides small- to large-sized textile, fashion, apparel, footwear, accessories, and luxury goods companies with tools to manage the entire fashion process from design, development, and sourcing to production, distribution, customer service, and finance.
The suite builds upon Infor's offerings available on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a flexible, subscription-based delivery model.
It combines beautiful software with rich product lifecycle management (PLM), sourcing, manufacturing, customer order management, supply chain, and finance functionality.
Infor takes advantage of Amazon Web Services' expertise and economies of scale by leveraging the AWS Cloud, providing access to resources when they need them. AWS provides services in 10 Regions, with 25 Availability Zones and 51 Amazon CloudFront Edge locations globally.
Infor CloudSuite Fashion offers industry-specific analytics, providing critical metrics and key performance indicators through a unique user interface that uses Infor ION, a purpose-built middleware, and Infor Ming.le, a social collaboration engine.
"The fashion industry is one that needs to adapt quickly to fluctuations in pricing, consumer demand, and regulations, and these could be different in every region in which an organization operates," Bob McKee, Infor Fashion Strategy Director said.
