Nano-Tex expands into home textiles market

Nano-Tex, a leading fabric innovation company providing nanotechnology-based textile enhancements to the apparel and commercial interiors markets, announced plans to move into the home textiles market beginning with an expansive roll out of wrinkle-free performance sheets made with Nano-Tex's Coolest Comfort fabric to JC Penney stores nationwide.
The 100% cotton, 350-thread count sateen sheet sets are being sold under the JC Penney Studio brand and will be available in nearly 700 JC Penney stores throughout the country by the end of July.
Already a significant source of growth in the apparel industry, Nano-Tex enhanced textiles allow designers to utilize the latest technology to incorporate superior performance characteristics into fashion at a time when manufacturers and consumers want more, in terms of style, function and durability, from clothing. Nano-Tex's enhanced textiles are also ideally suited for the home because they give consumers the opportunity to decorate their homes the way they want, without compromising beauty, comfort or design.
A recent study conducted by Nano-Tex confirmed consumer interest in enhanced textiles for the home. The survey, which queried consumers on textile enhancements for bedding, bath, tabletop and other home furnishings, reports consumers are very interested in having enhancements built in to their favorite household textiles provided the enhancements would increase their function, comfort and/or durability.
