Appian Analytics to supervise all Gap brands including Old Navy & Banana Republic

Analytics unique software solution provider Appian Analytics Inc announced it has signed an agreement with Gap Inc. to provide business analytics and reporting services for monitoring performance across the Gap brands in the U.S.

"We will be monitoring all Gap Inc brands, including Old Navy and Banana Republic, in addition to The Gap, and Gap brand Outlet Stores.

Gap Inc is a leading-edge corporation in monitoring merchandising trends and performance across their stores. "Performance metrics include a wide range of interrelated factors such as merchandising and demand trends, inventory levels, customer perceptions and behavior, and store financial performance," Ma continues.

The mandate for this important project comes down directly from the top via The Gap Inc.'s President, Paul S. Pressler. The information is developed with the market research group and used in category management, brand management, strategic planning, market analysis, benchmarking, and in other performance tracking efforts.
