Business Management Systems, Inc. (BMS), a leading developer of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software solutions for the fashion and sewn-products industries, announces two key personnel moves aimed at enhancing the company's product strategy, research & development, and customer support capabilities.
Effective immediately, Mr. Franco Robinson has been named Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and Mr. Mark Milyavsky has been promoted to the position of Chief Product Officer (CPO). Both newly defined positions will report directly to BMS President Lee Goldenberg.
In the role of Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Robinson will lead technical development of the company's already extensive software offering. Leveraging his extensive background in web and database technologies, he will initially focus on expanding the platform and delivery options for BMS' next-generation PLM solutions.
Prior to joining BMS, Robinson served in a variety of technology management positions, most recently Director of Application Development, at VIVO Systems in Pennsylvania. He also served as Vice President of Web Consumer Technology at Adone in New York.
“For the past ten years, BMS has set the bar for 'depth and breadth' of software functionality in their market,” said Robinson. “With all the excitement surrounding PLM in the fashion market, this is an exciting time for BMS. I look forward to bringing my vision and experience to extend our web capabilities and enhance the interface and usability aspects of this impressive system.”
