Pillows maker OneUp to use Eton Production System

Eton Systems announces that OneUp Innovations Inc, maker of Liberator bedroom adventure gear, will install the Eton automated production and shop floor data collection system in its Norcross, GA (USA) facility.
By replacing the manual bundle handling system with Eton, the company expects to reduce both finished goods and work-in-process inventory requirements as well as dramatically reduce manufacturing throughput time.
Established in 2001, OneUp Innovations Inc manufactures a complete line of special purpose pillows and foam furniture specifically designed to enhance life in the bedroom. The company employs approximately 150 people in its single 140,000 square foot facility.
The 24 workstation Eton system will be used to produce furniture covers and liners, automating the transportation and optimizing individual operator handling from the cutting table through to final assembly and packaging.
