Methods Workshop to distribute Estmark Inc fabric costing solution

Fabric costing developer Estmark Inc and sewn-products technology solution provider Methods Workshop LLC announce a marketing agreement whereby Methods Workshop will distribute Estmark, the innovative software solution designed to quickly and accurately estimate production fabric consumption and costs early in the product development cycle.
By marketing Estmark in conjunction with its Quick TruCost pre-production costing and Engineered TruCost operation-by-operation detailed costing solutions; Methods Workshop will deliver the world's first comprehensive costing solution for apparel and other sewn-products industries.
Together, these solutions will enable retailers, brand managers, manufacturers, contractors, and agents to quickly and accurately calculate complete product costing in both the pre-production and production stages.
Developed over ten years of practical apparel industry application at Koret of California, GAP, Inc., and Koramsa (Guatemala), Estmark is a PC-based software solution capable of estimating in advance, to within 1%, the actual production consumption of fabrics for a specific style or production program.
Starting early in pre-production with information generated in any pattern design & marker making system, Estmark utilizes embedded cutting room process intelligence to comprise all relevant factors required to calculate the actual amount of fabric that will be needed to produce the product(s).
The program greatly automates the costing process, typically returning highly accurate results in less than ten minutes per style. Estmark typically presents an opportunity for savings ranging from 5% to 10% of the cost of fabric.
