Syscom implements Microsoft Dynamics AX application

Weird Fish is to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX across their business to help automate and integrate tasks across their organisation.
Based in Cheltenham, Weird Fish is a rapidly expanding supplier of branded women's, men's and children's wear. They have their own in house design team and, like many other clothing companies, production is outsourced to Turkey and the Far East.
Already an existing user of Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management in their Bath and Cheltenham stores, Weird Fish recently opened a further 3 stores to promote their range of leisure and lifestyle clothing. The stores compliment their highly successful Internet and mail order business and form part of their future aggressive growth strategy.
“We were manually writing out orders with only invoices being generated on a computer system” comments Jon Goodwin, Financial Controller, Weird Fish. “Microsoft Dynamics AX will give us integration across all departments reducing duplication of efforts throughout the business”. Jon has no doubt that the new ERP enterprise resource planning system will bring greater efficiencies and control throughout the company with the automation of tasks.

Weird Fish chose Microsoft Gold partner, Syscom PLC to help implement Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management. “After considering several companies within the market, we decided on Syscom due to their market focus “ said Ian Edwards, General Manager. “Syscom has proven experience within the clothing sector and this was demonstrated during the sales process”. Through Syscom's knowledge of the clothing industry, they have developed additional functionality within the product for this sector.
