Ignify, a Microsoft Gold Certified partner and leading provider of e-commerce solutions for the mid-market and large enterprise business segment, announced eCommerce 4.0, the latest and most advanced version of their widely deployed end-to-end online storefront and business commerce platform.

The newest version integrates with all Microsoft Dynamics ERP product lines helping to automate order processing and create a “zero-touch” order fulfillment environment. In addition, eCommerce 4.0 stays ahead of security concerns by meeting all requirements in latest security standards specified in the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA DSS) set by the PCI Security Standards Council. eCommerce version 4.0 is the 15th release of the product and debuted at the Microsoft Convergence conference in New Orleans from March 9 to March 13, 2009.

“eCommerce 4.0 is our most advanced for online business operations and reflects our ongoing commitment to customers in terms of enhancing productivity and addressing fraud as concern for data integrity continues to escalate,” said Sandeep Walia, president of Ignify. “We have listened to the marketplace and have added over 50 new features for streamlining productivity, heightening security, and adding revenue in a manner that requires no manual intervention on part of the merchant making zero-touch order processing a reality.”

Ignify eCommerce 4.0 delivers fully automated e-commerce capabilities that transparently integrate into existing back office systems making it extremely economical. Businesses utilizing Microsoft Dynamic ERP can easily incorporate critical e-commerce data such as: real-time traffic/sales reports, available inventory, cross-bundled promotions, and shipping costs into a centralized system that can be easily accessed by key company stakeholders. Other key features include:

Anti-Fraud: Going well beyond basic online AVS mechanism the anti-fraud functionality has been strengthened by adding additional parameters such as the ability to give first time customers a higher level of scrutiny than repeat customers.

Performance and Security Optimization: eCommerce 4.0 introduces caching to enhance performance for large transaction volume environments. eCommerce 4.0 has been stress tested to handle 5,000 concurrent orders and traffic volumes of over 100,000 simultaneous visitors.

Customer Specific Catalog: Business to Business merchants can customize offerings based on type of customer. For example, a merchant selling apparel and uniforms to restaurants and security personnel businesses can set up their site so only items relevant to a particular industry can be viewed – such as cruise line customers can only see cruise line apparel.

Self-Service Returns Management: A new module - this provides functionality for self-service returns. Store managers can set return policies for various return reasons. For example a store manager may choose to bear the cost of shipping if an item was received damaged but choose to have the customer bear the cost if the customer simply changes their mind. In addition, merchants can set different validity periods for returns for the different return reason codes.

“In this tough economy a strong e-commerce strategy becomes even more relevant as it is a path for adding significant revenue to business operations with very little incremental costs,” added Walia.

Ignify eCommerce is the leading online web store and e-commerce solution for Microsoft Dynamics ERP and has been deployed at over 200 sites including: McDonalds Corporation, Aerosoles, Giant Bicycles, and the Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys NFL teams among many others.
