Leading apparel manufacturer Kenpo Inc names Pollack PR Marketing Group (PPMG), a 20-year-old multi-specialty public relations and marketing agency, to build national consumer awareness for the launch of its Kenpo Jacket for iPod -- the latest convergence of fashion and technology.
Designed to keep wearers completely in vogue and in control of their iPod without fumbling with zippers, gloves or pockets, the Kenpo Jacket for iPod utilizes a patented 'smart fabric' touch pad technology to transform the Jacket's sleeve into a 5-button electronic control panel that is made for use with the iPod and iPod mini models.
The unique touch sensitive control panel fabric, ElekTex, developed by Eleksen, a UK-based leader in fabric technology, creates an easily accessible interface between wearers and their iPod, allowing wearers to play, pause, skip tracks and adjust the volume of their iPod by touching the control buttons discreetly interwoven into the lower sleeve of their jacket.
