ASW picks SSA WMS warehouse solutions

Extended enterprise solutions provider SSA Global announced that A.S. Watson Group (ASW) has selected SSA Warehouse Management (SSA WMS) to better respond to demand, streamline operations and improve customer service.

ASW is the retail and manufacturing division of Hutchinson Whampoa Limited.

The A.S. Watson Group operates in 34 markets worldwide and has built a blue-chip portfolio encompassing many of Europe and Asia's favourite brands and retail chains.

In Asia this includes the leading health & beauty specialist Watsons, PARKnSHOP supermarkets, TASTE food Galleria, Great Food Hall, Fortress electrical appliance stores, Watson's Wine Cellars and Nuance-Watson airport duty free shops.

In Europe, A.S. Watson Group operates stores in 21 countries under the Kruidvat, Superdrug, Trekpleister, Rossmann, ICI PARIS XL, Savers, Drogas, Spektre and Marionnaud brands.

SSA WMS will provide a shared service across multiple warehouses and retail subsidiaries within the A.S. Watson Group that will help them become more demand-driven.
