The Spanish company Jeanologia world leader in the development of sustainable technologies for  garment finishing will open  a training center in Bangladesh specialized in laser and ozone technology to improve the conditions of workers thus showing its social commitment to the more than 3 million people who are dedicated to the manufacture of Jean in this country.

In its commitment to an ethical and responsible industry, this initiative will introduce friendly technologies in the country with the health of workers and the environment in the country.

The headquarters, which will open next September in Dhaka, will be a demo and training center of laser and ozone technologies, where workers will learn through these technologies, how to process jeans, ensuring health conditions and workers safety, maintaining quality and the most competitive price, respecting those involved in the process and  the environment.

For over 20 years, Jeanologia develops innovative technologies for garments finishing such as lasers, eco-washer G2 and E-Soft, which save water, energy and chemicals in addition to removing dangerous techniques for operators

Specifically, the laser avoids textile techniques such as sandblasting, manual scraping or PP Spray, that are harmful to the health of workers, causing joint damage and diseases such as silicosis. Also, the eco-washing uses no chemicals G2, thus preventing diseases related to constant exposure to toxic chemicals, to get the bleach effect.

Through this project, Jeanologia wants to contribute to the textile industry in such an important market: there are 44,000 Bangladeshi textile factories and has become the country with the world's largest textile production.

As stated by Enrique Silla President of Jeanologia: "after the successive tragedies that have taken place recently in Bangladesh, we wanted to double our efforts with more than 3 million people working in Jeans manufacturing.

"Jeanologia philosophy is defined in one sentence: First our people then our planet and it is recorded in our DNA”. Also added that "we are aware that we must all do our part and only with technology and training we will be able to eradicate these situations"

According to Enrique Silla: "the way we manufacture a product is part of the DNA of it, it´s not only about the product but about the way we do it”.

Also Jeanologia expressed its support, collaboration and service to major brands such as H & M, Inditex, Levi's and GAP, which are also committed to the cause and support an ethical and responsible industry.
