SGIA 2018 reports growing number of exhibitors

The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) has reported that around 559 companies have signed on to exhibit at the leading printing exhibition, 2018 SGIA, as of July 17, 2018. The SGIA expo, which brings together the widest array of attendees from the imaging industry, will be held from October 18 to 20, 2018, at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

Filling an exposition hall the size of 10 football fields, exhibitors will inspire attendees as they showcase a wide range of the latest printing offerings and services, from inks and thermal ribbons to digital printers and environmental control equipment.

In addition to its 72 educational sessions and special networking events, the SGIA expo’s show floor will offer more than 25,000 registrants the opportunity to interact with industry leaders and see what’s on the horizon for machinery, applications, consumables, and more to support their business needs and goals.

Ford Bowers, president and CEO, SGIA said, “The range of suppliers represented, and solutions provided, at the SGIA expo is truly remarkable and exciting. It is the widest array of technologies that can be seen in printing today, and the success of these technologies in the market has made the SGIA expo one of the 'must attend' events for printers looking for their next opportunity to expand and grow.”

Among the current exhibiting companies are 3M Commercial Graphics, Agfa Graphics, Durst Image Technology, EFI, FUJIFILM North America Corp., GSG, HP Inc., INX International Ink Co., Kornit Digital, LexJet, Marabu North America LP, Media One Digital Imaging Solutions, Mimaki USA, OKI Data Americas, OmniPrint International, Piedmont Plastics Inc., STAHLS’, Top Value Fabrics, and Ultraflex Systems Inc.

SGIA expo member exhibitors are also eligible to enter the 2018 Product of the Year competition, for which the registration deadline is July 27, 2018. Winners will be announced on August 24, 2018 and all entries will be displayed in the Golden Image/Product of the Year Gallery on the show floor. (GK)
