The Austrian machinery manufacturer, Starlinger, sold over 100 units of its circular loom model RX 6.1, which was showcased at Chinaplas in Shanghai.

The new circular loom model RX 6.1 has the lowest production costs per fabric metre and operates at a higher production speed.

The RX 6.1 facilitates intelligent production with the interplay of electronic and mechanical machine components to achieve highest efficiency and product quality by keeping machine operation and maintenance easy and simple.

“We note a growing tendency towards high-quality, intelligent production also in China. Especially for packaging producers in the private sector who export their products, production quality is becoming more important because they have to meet certain obligations and standards,” said Hermann Adrigan, head of sales, Starlinger, summing up the impressions from the exhibition.

He further said, “In addition, labour costs play an increasingly significant role – also in China, wages are on the rise. Here, machines with a high degree of automatisation help to reduce costs. Intelligent production is a topic of growing importance – we certainly see it in the demand for our machines.” (HO)
