Indian Retail School (IRS), the best rated retail management institute and the first academic institute catering to the growing fashion and retail sectors in India, organized an orientation programme at the IRS campus, Naraina for their B.A. (Hons.) Retail Management marketing batch.
The event heralded the beginning of the new semester and a batch of new students, all brimming with aspirations, were inducted formally. By the end of the event, they were all beaming with confidence, ready to emulate the illustrious alumni of Indian Retail School who are holding top positions in Retail sectors today.
As a result of excellent placements this year and a good perception among students and parents, the students showed their trust in the institute and applied to this special Retail Degree programme.
IRS offers Undergraduate degree programme of 3-Year B.A. (Hons.) in Retail Management with Marketing, and 2-Year Diploma in Retail Management. The school also offers Postgraduate diploma programmes of 1-Year Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management (PGDRM), 1-Year Post Graduate Diploma in Visual Merchandising & Store Design (PGDVM & SD) along with several other industry oriented short term programmes.
During the Orientation Programme, the functionaries of the IRS provided guidance to the new batch lead by Dr. A.K.G. Nair, Group Director, Pearl Academy. Dr. Nair inaugurated the programme and addressed the students with his valuable advice and guidance. He advised the students to keep the pace with this dynamic industry and have the Global Vision during the tenure at IRS which will be surely helping them in order to get the top positions in the said industry.
Dr. Tarun Panwar, CEO, IRS also gave insights to the students on the future of the retail sector and the courses. IRS introductory presentation was made by Ms. Poonam Gupta, Officer-Incharge, PR about the institute, its various offerings, guidelines, certification criteria and students' decorum.
