Meepl app creates accurate body image using 2 images

Swiss tech start-up Meepl is offering free access to its smartphone-enabled, 3D body scanning technology for small and medium fashion enterprises affected by the COVID-19 crisis, according to chief executive officer Ferdinand Metzier, who said the Meepl app creates an almost 100 per cent accurate body image using only two pictures within seconds.
By using visual computing and deep neural networks, the two images will instantly obtain more than 50 measurements of the body, taking into account body height and use the latest body reconstruction algorithms to create a perfect duplicate of the users' body, Metzier told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
