Santex Rimar Group & SMIT to participate in ITM 2018

Santex Rimar Group, a leader in knitted, woven fabrics, technical textiles, and nonwovens solutions; and SMIT, a leader in weaving technology, are set to participate in ITM 2018 textile machinery expo, to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from April 14 to 17, 2018. Santex Rimar will be seen in hall 12, booth 1206, and SMIT will be seen in hall 2, booth 215A.
Santex Rimar will show CSM6, the new generation, vertical brushing machine with brand new technologies applied. With new features, customers can solve the wing-gap problem and can obtain different brush effects on the same fabric.
The company will also display the Sperotto Rimar Decofast 3.5 for the decatizing process under pressure for finishing polyester-viscose, polyester-cotton, wool & wool blend and synthetics blends, knitted, and woven fabrics.
Another product to be exhibited at the fair is the electrostatic filter and heat recovery system. The unit is produced to heat the environment in the cabins and to save energy taking advantage of the hot air coming from exhaust shafts of ram machines working at very high temperature.
RAM-X series stenter frames, that offer maximum operating efficiency for the best possible quality results with minimum energy consumption for treatment of textile products, will also be shown at the expo.
Suitable for all kinds of natural and synthetic woven and knitted fabrics, RCM-D can be seen at ITM. Drums and working rollers can be operated in different rotation directions and pile and counter pile raising rollers work at independently adjustable speed.
SMIT will present the brand new model of the GS900 series, SMIT GS980. It is the fastest, free flight rapier machine of the market and has improved in terms of versatility, performance, production quality, efficiency, and sustainability. Fabrics for apparel, home textile, technical applications, and exclusive yarns and patterns can be woven with excellent quality on SMIT GS980. (GK)
