Oerlikon Textile India Ltd (OTIL), a 100 per cent subsidiary of OC Oerlikon AG, Switzerland, recently inaugurated a service centre in Gujarat’s Vadodara, according to OTIL general manager Atul Vaidya. The centre is equipped with a mechanical workshop, spare parts station, electronic repair workshop and a training centre, he told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.OTIL plans to further strengthen its local support in India to serve the South Asia region more efficiently, he said.
The group deals in surface solutions, manmade fibres (MMF) and drive systems. Mumbai- headquartered OTIL with its brands Barmag and Neumag has been active in MMF spinning for the last 30-35 years.
