The 16th International Textile Asia Exhibition in Pakistan ended with deals of around $350 million signed at the three day trade show, which was also attended by over 500 foreign visitors. The organisers of the textile machinery trade show also inked an agreement to continue to jointly conduct the fair for the next five consecutive years in Lahore.

PRGMEA chief coordinator Ijaz Khokhar said that although this edition was dominated by presence of several Chinese companies, they would strive to attract companies from Europe, mainly Germany at the next edition. (AR)
