23 Bangladeshi firms exhibiting at Heimtextil

23 Bangladeshi home textiles manufacturing companies are exhibiting at the upcoming Heimtextil 2017, to be held from January 10-13, 2017 in Germany. These companies will be showcasing various home textile products including cushion covers, bed covers, bedsheets, bathrobes, towels, etc in a bid to attract buyers from all over the world who visit the show.
Heimtextil is the largest global trade show for home and contract textiles at which more than 2,886 exhibitors from 69 countries are taking part in the 2017 edition.
According to Hossain Mehmood, chairman of the Bangladesh Terry Towel and Linen Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BTTLMEA), the participation at Heimtextil will help Bangladesh home textile producers to attract global buyers to source products from the country.
Bangladeshi media reported that of the 23 exhibitors, 10 of them are participating under the banner of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), while the rest are exhibiting on their own. (AR)
